Site designed for teachers and content uploaded by teachers. The site includes a range of lesson plans and other resources.

2. SchoolTube
Similar to Teacher Tube and includes content created by students also.

3. Teachers' TV
Professional videos with classroom resources and a new section on Ready to use in Class videos

4. How Stuff works Part of the Discovery Communications suite of resources this site contains a very wide range of videos on a huge number of topics.

5. DotSub
Watch videos with subtitles in your language, upload your videos, create your own subtitles! Collection covers a wise range of languages.

6. Vimeo A site for sharing videos - lots of interesting short films by professional film makers. For example:

7. CNN Student news
Good for questions about media literacy.

8. Next Vista for learning
Next Vista for Learning is a site created by US teacher Rushton Hurley it is an "online library of teacher- and student-made short videos for learners everywhere."

9. Futures Channel for videos intended for classroom use on a range of subjects.

10. GoogleVideo Google serves up YouTube of course as they own it! but you will find other videos there - use minus sign in your search query (-youtube) to remove YouTube from the results.
